CDO heart of Asia will ones again commemorate the feast of Saint Patrone Agustine this coming August 27, 2012. In this festival of Cagayan de oro the government take charge in preparing, planning, organizing and implementing programs and activities for the annual feast of the city’s patron saint, St. Augustine.

Vice Mayor Ian Acenas is the one who take in-charge for the 2012 Kagay-an festival executive committee chair and he mention that the core events are The Search for Miss Kagay-an 2012, Agro Fair, Rodeo and Horse Show, Kagay-an 2012 Cultural Street Dancing Competition, the Kagay-an P.E. Rhythmic Dance, Kagay-an Festival Parade (Civic-Military and Golden Float parade), Kagay-an Festival Run and Pyrolympics.
