CityMall Considering Cagayan de Oro for their Expansion

Another Mall will rise in Cagayan de Oro and be known the City Mall with a tagline “Your Everyday Mall”. CDO Development is really awesome in the last 10 years.

The founders of fast-food giants Jollibee Group and Mang Inasal, owners of DoubleDragon Properties Corp., is eyeing Cagayan de Oro as among its prospective sites for their planned CityMall, a new chain of community malls.

City Mall is targeting 100 stores by the year 2020 all over the Philippines and each mall have an average 7,000sqm of GLA for a total of 700,000sqm by 2020.

Arnaldo Boulevard, Roxas City is the first site of CityMall with a total floor area of 7,034 sqm. With their growing business, City Mall planned for an expansion in Visayas and Mindanao Regions and Cagayan de Oro is among of the lucky Cities to be evaluated as prospective sites.

Double Dragon owns CityMall for 66percent and the remaining 34percent was owned by SMIC.
