Worth of P800K Shabu Seized @ Brgy. Iponan

A joint drug buy-bust operation by Opol Municipal Police Station and Cagayan de Oro City Police Office Station No. 7 (Bulua) last night, April 27, 2017 at Bloomingdale Subdivision in Barangay Iponan resulted in the arrest of Naira Kairan Zosa, who yielded three (3) large packets and seven (7) rectangular sachets of shabu with an estimated value of P800,000.

In its Facebook post (see below), police also stated the recovery of two pieces P500 bills as buy-bust money and cash amounting to P4,050. The 30-year old Zosa is an alleged big-time supplier of drugs in the area. As quoted in radio reports, Zosa denied the accusation and said the items were just left by a friend from Marawi City. The suspect is now detained at Opol Police Station for filing of appropriate charges pursuant to RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
