The Regulatory and Complaint Board (“RCB”) Inspectorate Team, led by Mr. ANTONIO RESMA JR, together with Atty JOSE EDGARDO “EGAY” UY, RCB Chairperson, and personnel from the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (“COCPO”) conducted an operation on the implementation of City Ordinance No. 5133-95 which prohibits the drinking or consumption of alcoholic liquor or beverages in public places.
The management of Cagayan Town Center and organizers of the CarTambay were informed that such acts are not allowed and so-called CarShot will not be tolerated by the RCB and the City Government in general.
The public is also advised not to engage in such acts as violators may be punished with a maximum imprisonment of 4 months or fine of Php1500.00.
Moreover, the Management was reminded of pertinent laws and City Ordinances relative to the operation of BARS particularly Section 614 of City Ordinance No. 4373-94, otherwise known as the 1994 Codified Ordinance of Cagayan de Oro City
In addition, the public and business establishments are reminded of Section 26(e)(i) and Section 26(e)(iii) of City Ordinance No. 13394-2018, otherwise known as the Cagayan de Oro City Comprehensive Children’s Welfare Code of 2018
MINORS are NOT ALLOWED inside BARS, CLUBS, CAFES, and OTHER SIMILAR ESTABLISHMENTS which SELLS LIQUOR
MINORS are PROHIBITED from BUYING and CONSUMING any LIQUOR, ALCOHOLIC, and OTHER INTOXICATING DRINKS
