Few days ago I received a call from a friend and asked me if I’m vacant and can join to the group to meet Congressman Sonny Angara the son of Senator Angara. Although it’s urgent I manage to say yes..Lolx, we met Congressman Angara at Hotel Koresco. Although I did not throw him questions for the reason that I got so start strucked
I observed him with the way he answer those questions, I admit he is brilliant and he really thinks first before giving his own opinion. If he run for Senator this coming 2013 election and win I think a lot of students will benefit since he would like to focus on the education sector.
One of his proposals on Education is for students especially those on the top ten (10) of their classes as well as those coming from less – privileged families to be given free entrance exams to colleges.
He also proposed about the calamity fund that a portion of it will reimburse the unforeseen expenses incurred by schools which were turned into evacuation centers after the calamity. The government should help also in defraying the expenses to be incurred by the schools which they usually get from their measly more or maintenance and other operation expenses.
My question is, if he really run into higher position in the government which is the Senator of the Philippines is has a big advantage for him that his father Senator Angara is a known public servant? Which he said he really idolized his father.:-)
