COVID-19 China’s Donation Test Kits, N95 Masks, Surgical Masks And Others Has Arrived
As promised, China’s donation of 100,000 high-tech-test-kits, 100,000 surgical masks, 10,000 N95 masks, and 10,000 sets of personal protective equipment arrived in Manila. Department of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Philippines Secretary Teddy Boy Locsin and Filipino officials personally received the donations around 6:00 this morning to rush the donations to the Department of Health (Philippines) and equip the medical workers and healthcare front-liners combating the #COVIDoutbreak.
This comes a week after China’s promised delivery of 2,000 high-tech-test-kits arrived in Manila.
The Chinese Embassy has been closely communicating with the Department of Health (DOH) to ensure a speedy receiving of the aforesaid donations so as to contribute to Philippine Government’s efforts in fighting the epidemic and benefit the Filipinos as soon as possible.
This comes a week after China’s promised delivery of 2,000 high-tech-test-kits arrived in Manila, after some import protocol and flight delays, China’s own recovery efforts, and global war vs COVID.
China Ambassador Huang Xilian reaffirms that the Chinese people stand ready to help their Philippine brothers and sisters to go through this difficult time.
