Alaska Ironkids Philippines is a yearly sporting event and this is the kiddie version of an Ironman Triathlon and it aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among children through the winning combination of proper nutrition and physical activity.
This month the Alaska IronKids Aquathlon was held at Subic Bay Free Port Zone Zambales. The young and determine kid from Malaybalay City Ma. Chelsea Faith Miñoza dominated the 6-8 yrs old female category with the official time of 8:28.7 minutes last June 6, 2015 a daughter of Rhey Minoza and Maria Salome Minoza. The daughter of the former World Bodybuilding champion Ringo Borlain the seven (7) yr old Franchezka Borlain finished fourth with an official time of 11:03.9 minutes while her sisters Samantha Borlain finished first in 13-14 yrs old female category with official time of 14:39.0 minutes as well as Tara Borlain in 11-12 yrs old female category with official time of 14:39.0 minutes.
Congrats Ma. Chelsea Faith Miñoza the pride of Malaybalay City Bukidnon. Chelsea time in swimming is 2:04 minutes while in running is 04:21.8 minutes.
The Alaska IronKids Race Series is just one of many sports development programs that Alaska conducts yearly to engage children to come out and play.
The last leg of the Alaska Ironkids series will be the Alaska Ironkids Triathlon to be held in Cebu this August, which serves as the curtain raiser for the Cobra Ironman event. Parents can still register their children on this website: http://ironkidsphil.com/registration/index.php
Below also is the Malaybalay SULIP Team who was participated the Alaska IronKids Philippines and also with the help of their coach Kenneth Amiel Taylor. Heart Gene Quiambao finished 4th place in 11-12 yrs old female and Bea Maria Quiambao finished also 4th in 13-14 yrs old female category while their brother Arsen Quimbao is a finisher.

Definitely a pride of Malaybalay City! Yeay! I often see this kid at the neighborhood but I can't imagine she's so much talented than she looks! Outta girl! And by the way, where can I see the official results of the 13-14 yrs old female category?
