CDRRMD Cagayan de Oro Will Launch Emergency Hotline 911

To be able to dispatch emergency response more quickly and timely, the city government of Cagayan de Oro under the current administration and through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) will launch its Emergency Hotline 911 on August 28, 2017 duly approved by the National Telecommunications Commission. CDRRMD officer in charge Allan Porcadilla said the Close Circuit Television (CCTV) will also be operational during the launching which will also be manned by trained personnel from the Cagayan de Oro Police, Roads and Traffic Administration, Bureau of Fire and CDRRMD at the operation center 24/7. Porcadilla said calls will be directly received by the operation center and Cagayan de Oro is one of the pilot cities nationwide using the 911 emergency hotline.
