UNIQLO Considering to open Branch in Cagayan de Oro

Uniqlo Co., Ltd. is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer. The company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Fast Retailing Co.

This is really good news to Filipinos who are looking for jobs that fits to their qualification. One of the biggest clothing retailers is planning to tap Philippine garments manufacturers. According to the Chief Operation Officer of Fast Retailing Philippines Inc Katsumi Kubota that they are now studying the 40 local governments that was recommend to them.

Katsumi Kubota added that on the 4^th quarter of this year 2 more branches would open in Cebu which the company’s first foray outside Luzon. Addition to their plans is to put up stores in key areas in Mindanao such as Davao, Cagayan de Oro and General Santos City are among of the 40 cities that they already started studying.
